Our site has great foundation of information, however we know you may still have questions about what we will offer. Here is a top list of our most frequently asked questions. Please contact a team member if you don't find the answer you're looking for.

QUESTION: What are the rates?
If you are in search of a Disc Jockey to show up for a couple hours with some big speakers and a box of CD's, then you may want to shop around for the cheapest DJ you can find. Honestly, it does not take experience to plug in speakers and press play. Simply, we do more than that. We are not the least expensive, but not overpriced. We are exceptional at what we do. Prices for events are from $500-$2500 depending on the assignment, length and options  Weddings begin at $1400 for four hours.

QUESTION: Contracts, Deposits?
We are licensed and bonded and work with contracts. A reservation fee is required to secure your event. The contract locks in your artist/talent, date and times you elect. Your contracts will have all the information pertaining to your event.

QUESTION: When can we come see you perform?
Many clients inquire if they can check in to see us on the job. We would love to bring you along, but we simply cannot. You would have to stay for a while to experience all that we do and each event is designed specifically for that client. Also, it's not professional. When we are at an event we are performing and sound tracking for the clients that hired us, not clients that "might". Our references are impeccable and you are welcome to inquire with former clients for a better feel of what we will do for you.

QUESTION: Do you charge a setup fee?
No. We are paid from the moment you want music playing thru the last song. Example, if we start at 7:00pm, we arrive to prior to setup, billing is only from the actual start time.

QUESTION: May I request specific talent?
Absolutely. Your event personality has specific chemistry with you from design to execution of your event. Once talent is assigned and you are contracted, this is locked in. However, extremely rare (less than 1%) of events we've had to switch talent due to an illness. If this instance occurs, your talent is a tier one event professional. This has NEVER happened.

QUESTION: When I sign on board how is the artist contracted?
When you meet and sign with an artist here at thedjexperience.com, you'll work with them throughout your campaign up to your event date. Our contracts are between you and the artist directly.

QUESTION: What type of equipment do you have?
Our equipment is top notch, professional and neat. We will blend in with the atmosphere and have a fly-on-the-wall style approach. Our music and sound is completely perfect. Our talent prides itself on keeping your environment casually elegant and not "abrasive". Currently using BOSE, Mackie, JBL Series, Yorkville, dbx, Sennhiser, Denon, Shure, BBE, and Odyssey products.
